MARCH SELF LOVE MAIL

March took us to the Shores of Flow (Philippines), a destination centered around emotional flow, trust, and warmth. Inspired by coastlines, waves, and movement, this month invited us to explore something many of us struggle with: allowing ourselves to feel. This aligns with March’s destination theme of emotional flow and trusting ourselves through change.

For many of us, emotions can feel uncomfortable. We rush to fix sadness, avoid frustration, or search for immediate answers when uncertainty appears. We often treat emotions as problems to solve rather than experiences to move through.

But this month asked us a different question:

What if emotions were never meant to be controlled?

The ocean became our reminder.

Waves rise and fall naturally. They don’t apologize for appearing, and they don’t stay forever. Emotions work much the same way. When we allow ourselves to experience feelings without immediately suppressing, judging, or rushing them away, we create space for them to move.

The lesson this month was not about becoming perfectly calm or emotionally balanced.

It was about learning to trust ourselves while things are still moving.

Throughout the month, we explored this theme through coastal-inspired art, a playful word search centered around emotional themes, reflective prompts, and small reminders that self-love isn’t always about changing how we feel sometimes it’s simply about staying with ourselves while we feel it.

Important Lessons from March

  • Emotions are temporary visitors, not permanent identities.
  • You do not need to understand every feeling immediately.
  • Flow does not mean losing controlit means allowing movement.
  • Trust is built through small moments of staying with yourself.

Together, these pieces were created to serve as small companions throughout the month, reminders that self-love isn’t always about having everything figured out, but learning how to stay with yourself while things are still moving.

As we leave the shores behind and continue our journey, maybe the question to carry forward is this:

What would change if you stopped fighting your feelings and started listening to them instead?

And perhaps most importantly:

You do not have to control every wave. You only need to trust that you can float.
